Marathon Training Run 1.01
Distance: 4.03 miles
Time: 29:01
Average: 07:11 / mile
Best: Mile 1 - 07:04

So, my marathon training officially began last night. It was a good run, although harder than it should have been. I was trying to do my pre-training runs to get me in shape for this, but I took 2 or 3 weeks off and ended up NOT being in shape for this. That's okay, though. It was still a good run and hopefully I will get in shape pretty quickly.

I never posted about my camping trip, so I guess I will share some about it. Dominique and I went to Inks Lake State Park for a few days. It was a lot of fun. We went to the Devil's Waterhole and climbed up and around this little cove. I went swimming, but Dom's burn on her leg prevented her from doing the same. No bueno. But, we did get to go fishing, which I had not done in years. Dominique caught a catfish that was HUGE (probably ~15 inches!), but the hook came loose before we got it all the way onto the dock. Overall, we had a lot of fun and it helped me to make the most of my vacation.

Randy and Jamie have been staying at my apartment until they get their own place. It's been pretty cool, actually. I don't know what I'll do once they are gone! Hopefully they will get a place nearby. The most recent one they are looking at is right around the block, so that would be really cool. Having Miss Kylie right up the street wouldn't be that bad of a thing, either...

Well, I'm off to work. I'm helping out at the Lakeline store today and Saturday. It's cool, but I hate driving all the way to Cedar Park. Speaking of which, I should leave now!

(Oh, and UT plays their first game on Saturday!!! I'm so EXCITED!!!!!!!!)
