Okay, so I started a little early

Average: 6:59.79 / mile
Best: Mile 2 - 6:52.8
Well, I was gonna wait until next week, but I changed my mind. After playing a few (bad) games of racquetball this morning, I felt like redeeming myself with a good run. And it worked! I was/am shooting for 7:15/mile, since that is about what I'll have to average in my marathon next year to qualify for the Boston Marathon, but I kinda overshot a little bit. Now I just have to do that about 8 or 9 times over, and I'm good to go!
Actually, I'm just trying to get in shape for when my real training will start in a few months. I want to be averaging 7-7:15/mile for about 7 or 8 miles come July or August without much trouble. That will put me in good shape, I think, to train at a qualifying pace. I'm getting excited about it, especially after a really good run like today!
