I'm tired. I wanna run a marathon!

Work, Running

I haven't been this tired for this long in forever, if ever. The past 3 weeks have just been one long, exhuasting experience. I'm glad I was/am able to help with inventory around Austin, but I'm worn out. I have one more to go (Friday night), and then I'm done. Last night was especially exhuasting, since I worked at my store from 2pm-6pm, then at Parmer from 10pm-5am. And playing a couple of games of racquetball this morning really helped, I'm sure!

I really don't know why I committed to this. I'm actually going to get paid less this week than if I didn't do inventory b/c of the way the days worked out. I'll only get about 34-35 hours, when I probably would have had 38-39 if I didn't do inventory. And I don't know that I can do much else towards getting a promotion except graduating. So it's not like I'm just trying to get in good w/ Cody...I dunno. I guess since I actually care about PetSmart, it's cool to be a part of that process and to be able to save the store money by auditing different sections. Stinkin' fulfilling work. :-P

I'm going to start my marathon training next week. With inventory for the past 3 weeks, I haven't been able to run at all, but I miss it a ton. I won't have to actually start training until July or August, if that soon, but I want to start getting in shape next week. I'd like to run 5 or more miles at 7:15/mile by the time I start training. That would put me in good shape to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I'll have to do 26.2 miles at that pace at the Cowtown to qualify, and it's something I really wanna do. I hope work, class and running don't wear me down too much, but I should be motivated enough by work itself, pending graduation, and qualifying for the Boston - respectively. We shall see!
