To sleep or not to sleep...

Work, Class

Yeah, so, I woke up "this morning" around 4:30 and could NOT get back to sleep. So, I finished my Tom Clancy novel (The Cardinal of the Kremlin), finished up my Blog page, and got all my finances in order and such using Quicken. Quite productive, actually. The downside is that I have a long day ahead of me, and now I know I will be tired by early afternoon. I work from 8:30 until 4, then I head to campus to work on my Gaming Technology project (my video game!). This, of course, comes after spending all day on campus yesterday studying. I got my AI project done, I just have to do the AI homework, study for the AI midterm that I take on Thursday, do my Computer Architecture homework, and get enough of my project done to call it 1/3 finished. That is all.

It is not too bad, though. I had some really bad apathy the past few weeks towards everything, but especially classes. Graduation was supposed to be around the corner, but now it is a few blocks away (probably). December is still a good target date, but I cannot wait to be done. I decided yesterday that in order to finish, I cannot be apathetic. I need to buckle down and work twice as hard to make sure I get good grades so I can graduate even then. It sucks, but it is what I need to do.

I am doing quite well, otherwise. Along with that apathy I was just kinda down about a lot of things, but I listened to some Downhere on the way to Fort Worth a couple of weeks ago and some of their lyrics have really kinda hit me lately. Good stuff. I am definitely feeling better than I had there for a little bit.

Now if only I could sleep...

At the time of this posting, 'To sleep or not to sleep...' does not show on the index page. I'm assuming it has to do with the category definition.

Downhere is a good choice. ;-)
