Classes, Running, and Music
Class, Music, Running, Katie
I'm officially registered for ASL III at ACC for the summer. Classes start next Tuesday. I'll (theoretically) be fluent in ASL by August. Then there are only 2 classes left for me to take before I meet all of the required coursework for my Computer Sciences degree! It's really exciting. Now I just have to buckle down and work hard for the next year and as long as I perform well, I'll have a degree in a year!
June 4th is my doctor's appointment. My doctor is going to compare x-rays from my April 4th appointment and see how my fracture is healing. If she's worried about it, she'll order an MRI (yikes). If not, no big deal. Also, I plan on asking her about my limitations. She told me 6 months of no running to let my fracture heal, but she implied no running at all ever again. I'm not going to accept implications this time around. I want her to tell me exactly what I can and can't do and under what conditions I can and can't do them. Who knows, maybe I'll be running in 2 weeks (very unlikely). Or, atleast, in 4 months. :P
Let's see, that covers classes and running. That leaves music. One of my favorite topics. Today's artist showcase features Katie Prewitt, an up and coming musician who also happens to be my newly dubbed little sister. She is VERY cool and VERY talented. Be sure to listen to some of her music on her last.fm page. It's incredible.

I approve of degrees (and of ASL!), of potentially running again, and of Katie's music (and of Katie).
I love you.
