Cary Pierce is Awesome

I bought tickets the other day to go see Cary Pierce on March 2nd at Bend Studio in Dallas. It only seats 80-85 people, so it's a real intimate setting. Apparently, I'll have to take my shoes off and will be sitting on the floor. Sounds pretty cool to me! As an added bonus, Ginni will be coming with me. :-D

This weekend I will be in Houston again. It's hard to ration NOT visiting my family when they are only 2 hours away and I have weekends off from now on (oh yeah, I quit Pizza Hut if I haven't said so already). Imagine that, only working 5 days a week and actually able to pay the bills! I have a feeling I will be making more weekend trips in the near future...

Paul's birthday was Wednesday - Happy Vday and Bday! - so it'll be cool to spend some time w/ him this weekend. Randy, Carrie and I went in together on a gift we know he'll love, so that's exciting. I'm gonna be leaving straight from here for Houston when I get off work (~6).
